A. This method is very weak in finding out cause and effect relationship. We do not try to influence or control variable in observation method. That is why the conclusions drawn about cause and effect relationship are not accurate.
B. Observer’s bias may be there. Sometimes, the observer may avoid important details simply because he thinks such details are trivial.
C. The subjects under study may change their behavior because of the fact of being observed.
D. This method can describe overt behaviors only.
